UK Royal Navy (RN) personnel have begun flying mini-unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) from an airfield in Cornwall as part of the service’s experimentation drive. The UAVs are being used as an assessment of their suitability and applicability for use at sea and ashore by the RN and Royal Marines (RM).
